why were the baseball team “giants” wearing jerseys that said “gigantes” friday 9/7/07 against the dodgers?
I think it’s a promotion to attract more hispanic and latino fans to baseball. The Mets did it with their “Los Mets” uniforms during their “Fiesta Latina” night. All in all, it’s just a means to promote the sport and make more money.
